Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Socium AI ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Socium AI is an AI-powered productivity application that helps users manage tasks, optimize schedules, and sync with Google Calendar. Features may change over time.

3. Accounts

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

  • Socium AI offers paid subscription plans billed monthly ($10/month) or annually ($60/year).
  • New subscriptions include a 10-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial ends.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

5. Google Calendar Integration

  • Connecting Google Calendar is optional and requires your explicit authorization.
  • You may revoke access at any time from the Integrations page or from your Google Account settings.
  • We access only the calendar data necessary to provide scheduling features.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to it.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
  • Use automated means to access the Service without our written permission.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Socium AI and are protected by intellectual property laws. Your data remains yours — we do not claim ownership of content you create.

8. AI-Generated Content

Socium AI uses AI to generate scheduling suggestions and recommendations. These are provided for informational purposes only. We make no guarantee that AI recommendations will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific needs. You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on AI output.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Socium AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from account settings.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of significant changes.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the applicable courts.
